The entryway sets the tone for your entire home. Whether your house is large, tiny, or somewhere in between, your entry is likely to take up only a small portion of square footage. You can elevate your entry, however, with unique design choices like statement-making furniture and table decor. 

The key function of the entryway is essentially that it is the spot where people drop things when they walk in the door, so you want to incorporate functionality into your entryway. This might include hooks, baskets and catchalls, as well as sentimental pieces like art or a favorite antique. A mirror is always a great idea for those last-minute checks before heading out the door and it can create the illusion of space for smaller entryways.
