International GCC Shipping Disclaimer

Thank you for supporting our hand-crafted business! Because our items are handmade in Kuwait and shipped directly to your doorstep across the GCC, please review our international shipping terms before completing your purchase.

💸 Customs Duties, Taxes, and VAT (Paid by Customer)

All orders are shipped from Kuwait on a DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) basis. We do not collect any local taxes, customs duties, or Value Added Tax (VAT) at checkout. The customer is always responsible for paying 100% of all local VAT, import taxes, and courier clearance fees directly to the shipping company upon delivery.Before placing your order, please note the local tax and duty rules for your country:

Saudi Arabia: The customer must pay 15% VAT on all orders regardless of the price. Orders over SAR 1,000 will incur an additional 5% customs duty.

Bahrain: Orders under BHD 300 are generally exempt. Orders over BHD 300 require the customer to pay 10% VAT and 5% customs duty.

UAE: Orders under AED 300 are exempt from duties. Orders over AED 300 require the customer to pay 5% VAT and 5% customs duty.

Qatar: Orders under QAR 1,000 are exempt from duties. Orders over QAR 1,000 require the customer to pay 5% customs duty (no VAT applies).Please note: Couriers may also charge a nominal administrative fee for processing these payments at your border. If a delivery is rejected by the customer due to tax/VAT charges, shipping costs will not be refunded.

🪪 Mandatory National ID / Customs Information

To comply with Gulf customs regulations, you must provide your National ID number (Iqama, CPR, Emirates ID, or QID) and a valid local mobile number at checkout. International express couriers require this information to clear your personal package through customs. If this information is missing or incorrect, your shipment will be delayed, or returned to Kuwait at the customer's expense.

We will contact you for your National ID number. This is required on all shipments from Kuwait throughout the GCC. This information will be kept confidential.

📦 Personal Quantity Limits

Our home and body fragrances, candles, and oils are cleared under "Personal Use" import guidelines. To prevent customs delays or commercial rejections, please limit your order to a maximum of 3 to 5 pieces of the exact same item or scent per package. Large quantities of identical items may be flagged by customs as an unauthorized commercial shipment.

☀️ Weather and Meltable Items (Candles & Oils)

Because our candles are hand-crafted from natural wax (soy/beeswax) and our fragrance items use clean oil bases, they are sensitive to extreme heat during transit across borders. While we pack all items with secure insulation, we cannot be held responsible for minor melting, sweating, or leaking caused by transit temperatures or customs inspection delays.
