In many countries around the globe, no part of an animal is wasted. In this case, the horns are removed after the cattle has been slaughtered (halal) for its meat. The horns are used for a number of items, among them are these aerated soap dishes. These look delicate but are actually very sturdy. They have been imported from a women's cooperative in Kenya.
